Fanny packs are practical. And it doesn’t really matter whether you are traveling or not. You can use a fanny pack in all kinds of situations. Lately I have almost stopped using my fanny packs, because I find a small backpack being more useful. However, my partner uses his fanny pack quite a lot, mostly when he is hiking, but also when sightseeing and almost always when going to the airport and flying.
Currently for him it’s also his camera bag. But going to the airport it’s where he puts stuff like passport and boarding passes, sometimes – also iPad and headphones. Because it’s so convenient!
Best Fanny Packs – Unisex – Reviews
1. Tinyat Travel Fanny Pack Review
The Tinyat fanny pack is rather small and lightweight. It is perfect for carrying your basic necessities, like, a smartphone, a wallet, earphones and keys. It’s more like a waist wallet / money belt rather than a fanny pack.
This fanny pack will be ideal for those who don’t like bulkier traditional fanny packs. It lays flat against your stomach and in my opinion it looks way better than most of the money belts. The fanny pack’s design is cute – it has a crescent shape and it gets narrow at the edges.
The Tinyat fanny pack has a main compartment, a small zippered inside pocket and discreet zippered back pocket. The pockets help to organize items instead of having everything placed together into a single pocket. An iPhone 7 Plus will fit in the main compartment perfectly.
There is a durable adjustable strap, which adjusts to fit all waist sizes, up to 40″ (102 cm). If you are a petite woman, just like me, you might want to cut the excess off, once you have adjusted and tightened the strap. Of course, you don’t need to do it, as there is an elastic loop which prevents the excess end of the strap from hanging.
The Tinyat fanny pack is not waterproof, but it is reasonably water resistant. The waist bag is available in several colors.
Dimensions of the bag: 12.2″ x 4.7″ x 4.7″ (31 x 12 x 12 cm).
2. SAVFY Fanny Pack Review
The SAVFY fanny pack is simple-looking and compact. It looks somewhat like a classic fanny pack from the 80’s and 90’s.
It’s made from high quality polyester fabric, which is not only durable, but also lightweight and water resistant.
The fanny pack has a large main compartment, a zippered front pocket, a small zippered side pocket and zippered back pocket. The large compartment is large enough to hold a disposable plastic bottle of water (16.9 fl oz) with a room to spare. The small zippered side pocket can hold small items like mints, gum, lip balm, etc. The other smaller compartments are perfect for storing keys, ID, money, earbuds, etc. There is a hanging hook on the side, ideal for hanging keys or a name / ID tag holder.
When packed, the SAVFY fanny pack is not too bulky, even though it is roomy enough to hold all your basic necessities.
The strap of the fanny pack is adjustable, and it will fit waist sizes from 32” (81 cm), up to 43” (109 cm). It will look good on both men and women.
Dimensions of the SAVFY fanny pack: 15″ x 5.9″ x 4″ (37 x 15 x 10 cm).
3. EGOGO Travel Sport Fanny Pack Review
A great compact fanny pack for travel, both for men and women. It’s pleasant looking and stylish.
There are 3 compartments: front zippered pocket, a roomy main compartment and zippered back pocket. Front zippered pocket is perfect for storing your keys as it has a key attachment sewn in. Large main compartment has an inner mesh pocket. This mesh pocket and zippered back pocket are perfect for your valuables, as they aren’t visible to others. The back of the fanny pack is padded for extra comfort and protection whilst wearing.
The EGOGO fanny pack is flat rather than bulky. Yet it is roomy enough to carry all the basic necessities, like, IDs, wallet, phone, a compact point and shoot camera, Kleenex and a few other small items. You can fit a 20 fl oz (591 ml) water bottle with a room to spare.
The EGOGO fanny pack is made of a durable and water resistant ripstop nylon material. It is available in several colors.
It has an adjustable strap, and it adjusts to fit waist sizes up to 48″ (122 cm).

4. Waterfly Fanny Pack Review
From the picture the Waterfly fanny pack might look very small. But it’s not. Yes, it’s compact and rather flat yet its compartments are surprisingly roomy. It doesn’t look ridiculously bulky even if it’s packed.
The Waterfly fanny pack has a main compartment, which is big enough to accommodate 16.9 fl oz (500 ml) disposable bottle. The main compartment has a key attachment as well. There are 2 front pockets – largest one is zippered, the other one has a Velcro closure. A pack of cigarettes will fit in the largest of the two. There is a rear zippered pocket, which is not visible to others.
The fanny pack is made of sturdy water resistant material, and has durable adjustable strap with a buckle. Strap is adjustable – it can be extended as long as 50” (127 cm). Available in several colors.
Dimensions of the Waterfly fanny pack: 11” x 3.74”(28 x 9.5 cm).
5. Adidas Rand II Fanny Pack Review
A great fanny pack by Adidas! It is a bit wider and thicker than the other fanny packs I have reviewed but it’s still compact and not too bulky. It can be worn both by men and women, as the waist strap is long and adjustable for comfortable fit.
The fanny pack is very practical and it is perfect for travelers, dog walkers or just for casual use.
The Adidas Rand II has 2 zippered pockets to organize your things. There is a roomy main compartment and a smaller zippered front pocket. The latter one has a key fob to keep your keys safely attached. The front pocket can easily accommodate a large smartphone, too. If you are putting your keys in the front pocket and want to put a phone there as well, just keep your phone in a case!
The large compartment is big enough to hold a small (16.9 fl oz / 500 ml) disposable plastic bottle with a room to spare.
Dimensions of this fanny pack: 14” x 5.5” x 5” (36 x 14 x 13 cm).
